Wheatpasting Workshops

The San Xavier Coop Farm, in partnership with the NDN Collective, will be hosting a Wheatpasting Mural Workshops on March 22nd thru March 23rd. This will entail members of the community helping to create medium to large murals on farm infrastructure using the wheatpasting method and will be included in the organization’s creative resistance campaigns.

“NDN Collective believes in the power of art as activism. We utilize art as an effective strategy to create messaging and amplify stories throughout Turtle Island and beyond. Additionally, we are working to skill up and build capacity across our movement through training and workshops for Indigenous and POC communities. The Creative Resistance team has been working with Indigenous communities within specific regions, building connections through the Southwest, Hawaii, Alaska, and locally in Rapid City, South Dakota.”
